PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
The qualifying learner achieving this unit standard in combination with context expertise standard(s) will be able to facilitate participatory community processes using participatory methodologies and tools in an appropriate manner. This competence will enable the learner to facilitate workshops and other processes taking into consideration the needs of the community and individual community members. This will contribute towards effective communication with community members. Achieving this unit standard will enhance the efficiency of the qualifying learner and advance his / her own expertise and employability in water and other related sectors.
