The person credited with this Unit Standard is able to examine and provide the interpretation of collective agreements. The focus is on how collective agreements are applied to the workplace and to interpret possible non-compliance relating to the collective agreement at a workplace.

The qualifying learner is capable of:
Describing how collective agreements are established.
Describing the collective agreement extension process.
Interpreting to whom collective agreements apply.
Describing the different elements contained in collective agreements.
