Formative evaluation

1. For the various subjects:

For all the modules offered in the programme, a system of on-going evaluations will be used via tests, theoretical and practical assignments, case presentations, seminars and examinations.

For the module Nephrology Nursing practica, the following assessment will be used.

Formative assessment: Candidates will be evaluated continuously during the programme by means of clinical evaluation and reports from clinical mentors and unit supervisors.

Summative assessment: This consists of a two-hour evaluation, by means of a patient presentation / case analysis and skills assessment.

2. Integrated assessment:

To attain the qualification, every qualifying learner would have demonstrated his/her:
– discipline- and scientific-related knowledge and insight;
– discipline-related skills aimed at:
– problem identification and solving;
– applying scientific methodology – both theoretically and practically;
– acquiring, analysing and interpreting scientific data; and
– scientific interaction and teamwork;
– appreciation of academic values, that should reflect in his/her attitude towards and service to society;
