A qualified practitioner can demonstrate that he/she has acquired the relevant competences, these being the practical, foundational and reflexive competence in the contextual roles as played out in the specialist role, eg.
Being an expert Mathematics teacher;
Being a good administrator and manager of the mathematics classroom
Being a good interpreter of learning programmes and materials in Mathematics and
Being a good assessor in Mathematics
INTEGRATED ASSESMENT
The exist level outcomes is assessed through:
Continuous assessment with a variety of options, including written and or oral tests, assignments, demonstrations, portfolios, assessment of teaching competence (authentic or simulated) and other forms of appropriate assessment and or
Summative assessment consisting of a written examination and or laboratory work
