1. Learners should provide evidence of: competencies, abilities, insight, knowledge and skills via a range of formative and summative assessment methods, such as portfolios, simulations, case studies, workplace assessments, written and oral test and examinations.
2. By completing a project/case study and communicating the results, learners will demonstrate problem solving, teamwork, leadership, self-discipline, integrity and commitment, research and communication skills as well as technology literacy.
3. By requiring reports on general as well as specific subject related topics, learners will demonstrate their active interest in their study field by exposure to business journals and magazines as well as the daily business press, in order to maintain competence and keeping abreast of the changing economic environment.
4. Through a range of case studies and a project, the learners will demonstrate their entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and values in real-life simulations.
5. Through group discussions, tests and examinations in Business Ethics (two fundamental modules (8 credits each), the learners will provide evidence of employment seeking skills (CV’s and interview skills), their own values and personal paradigm as well as responsible citizenship, respect for God’s creations, his/her fellow man, authority and sensitivity to the environment and the socio-economic needs of the multi-cultural world.
Integrated assessment:
During the course of study, the progress of the learner is assessed by a variety of appropriate formative and summative methods, to supply evidence that the purposes of the qualifications as a whole have been achieved, by means of:
Written tests and examinations;
Case studies and/or assignments.
