A range of continuous formative methods including: prescribed practicals, tutorials, tests and written examinations. Seminars and Project work singly and in groups will also be used to assess whether the specified outcomes have been achieved.
The learners must prove their problem solving skills concerning rural engineering principles and must show that they have developed a broad understanding of rural development issues.
Integrated assessment incorporated to ensure that the purpose of the degree is achieved:

2. Written examinations
3. Oral examinations
