Integrated Assessment

The strategies that will be used to ensure that the specific and critical cross-field outcomes are achieved comprise of the following:

1. Continuous assessment by making use of assignments and tests for the theoretical part of the programme;

2. Projects for the applied and practical sides of the programme;

3. Compulsory internship which will be utilised to evaluate comprehension and critical practically related skills; and

4. Independent research that leads to a written report in the form of a treatise and a formal oral presentation. The treatise will comprise all the elements of a formal research exercise including a review of the relevant literature, appropriate research design, methodology, statistical analyses presentation and discussion of results.
