Integrated assessment.
In order to assess whether the exit-level outcomes have been achieved a range of formative, summative and affector assessments are made throughout the four years of study. These include seminars of various width and depth, case presentations, a research project and report, clinical work in the Medunsa Oral Health Centre, portfolios, and written and oral tests and examinations. The qualifier is evaluated on the aforementioned basis for both depth and width of knowledge and application through the assessment must be proved that s/he has achieved the NQF level 8A standards
