PURPOSE OF Neftaly SAQA Course 117890 Understand and apply ethical procedures and practices in Victim Empowerment NQF Level 02 Credits Credits 03
This Unit Standard is designed to assist learners to understand general ethical principles and their relationship to Victim Empowerment. This will enable learners to apply such principles to the practices and procedures of Victim Empowerment. It will also equip learners to conduct themselves ethically and to regulate their moral conduct based on ethical procedures; as well as guide learners in appropriate behavior.
Learners accredited with this unit standard will be capable of:
Explaining and examining key ethical concepts in the context of Victim Empowerment.
Describing and explaining key ethical concepts governing disclosure and non-disclosure of information
Identifying, understanding, and demonstrating appropriate ways of interacting ethically with victims in multicultural contexts
LEARNING IS ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
It is assumed that a learner will be competent in the:
Communication at NQF level 1 or equivalent competence.
Mathematical literacy at NQF level 1 or equivalent competence.
