1. Theoretical
Theoretical assignments incorporating case studies.
Class group assignments.
Practical
Evaluation by a panel of the successful application of community recreation programme for a school/youth group.
Evaluation of the implementation of community recreation leadership training programme for recreation leaders in basic recreation theory and practice.
Evaluation of the success achieved in both programme offerings by the course leader.
2. Theoretical
Theoretical assignments incorporating case studies of facility management scheduling and budgeting.
Class group assignments on facility design and maintenance programmes.
Practical
Evaluation of performance during practical work experience in a local authority.
Evaluation of logbook experience recorded during 100 hours practical exposure in specific sport and recreation facility management.
3. Theoretical
Theoretical evaluation by means of problem based assignments and case studies.
Practical
Evaluation of performance during practical work experience in a local authority.
Evaluation of presentation of business plan.
Integrated assessment:
Assessment by means of integrated theoretical examinations at the end of the level, consisting of evaluation on theory and/or case studies. Practical field experience, monitored by means of a log book system, is evaluated and integrated with other practical and theoretical assignments (group and/or individual) assessments, as well as the assessment of theoretical tests throughout the duration of the level, to form a predicate mark.
