Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the relationship between good grooming habits, personal appearance and self-image.
Demonstrate practical knowledge and understanding of interpersonal, listening, speaking and telephone skills.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the structure and functions of the skin; the effects of nutrition; and how to use skincare products professionally.
Demonstrate technical knowledge and skills required to apply different types of makeup appropriately.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of skills required to care for and style hair using professional hairstyling techniques.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of professional techniques used to provide expert care for the body.
Demonstrate knowledge understanding and understanding of basic health and fitness principles.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of choosing the right surgeon, as well as common procedures from eye, nose and lip operations to chemical skin peels, hair transplants and cosmetic dentistry.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the basic concepts of nutrition and well-being in order to make informed dietary decisions that relate to weight control, disease prevention, athletic performance, and general good health.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how to establish healthy fitness goals and create a workout that maximises wellness and meets personal needs.

Integrated Assessment:

Continuous assessment: The learner’s ability to integrate the elements of the programme is assessed through tasks, activities and self-assessments.

Formative and summative assessment: Learner competency is assessed through tests; practical tasks conducted under supervision; portfolio assignments; reports and case studies.
