INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT

Continuous assessment will take place through the evaluation of the research proposal, and through regular review of the research process by the learner and the supervisor

Summative assessment will consist of the production of a thesis and such oral or written examinations and practicals as are prescribed by the Senate

Formative and summative assessment are closely integrated by means of a periodic review of the research process in meetings between the supervisor and the learner
