Associated assessment criteria for Exit Level Outcome 1:
Understanding management and decision making.
Demonstrate insight into Health Studies as applied in nursing.
Demonstrate skills in time management, teaching and leadership.
Demonstrate essential knowledge and understanding of professional values.
Associated assessment criteria for Exit Level Outcome 2:
Understand contemporary issues which are emerging or re-emerging
Demonstrate the ability critically to analyse and evaluate knowledge in their area(s) of specialisation.
Contribute to systematic and disciplined thinking about educational matters and issues, with particular reference to their area(s) of specialisation.
Discuss health care reform.
Explain trends in care delivery and community health.
Have a sound understanding of integrative medicine in nursing practice and health setting.
Demonstrate insight in and use of telecommunication to provide and support health care in managing disease.
Appreciate the use of health information system and recognise the ethical and legal issues in the use of electronic health records.
Associated assessment criteria for Exit Level Outcome 3:
Apply knowledge of policies when discussing nursing practice issues.
Discuss social policy issues related to health care.
Explain the relevance of public health issues both nationally and internationally in clinical settings.
Associated assessment criteria for Exit Level Outcome 4:
Discuss theoretical concepts underpinning the practice of nursing.
Correlate with practice in learning areas including community and health care settings.
Apply theoretical knowledge to practice settings in order to deliver evidence based care.
Associated assessment criteria for Exit Level Outcome 5:
Enhance professional development through peer and professional support.
Foster personal and professional growth and consolidate learning and enquiry skills necessary for continuing professional development and lifelong learning.

Apply the essential competencies for nursing leadership: professionalism, business skills and principles, knowledge of health care environment, communication and relationship management and transformational leadership.
Work collaboratively with multi- disciplinary team.

Associated assessment criteria for Exit Level Outcome 7:
Implement critical thinking skills central to identifying and solving problems in the planning, implementation and evaluation of health care across the continuum of care delivery systems across professions.
Demonstrate the understanding of how the healthcare delivery system works and fails to work.
Demonstrate high quality of decision making.
Associated assessment criteria for Exit Level Outcome 8:
Write a research proposal for implementation.
Describe the different research approach and designs as they apply to nursing practice.
Review appropriate literature on nursing related topics.
Recognize ethical and legal issues as they pertain to health care research
Appreciate the discipline of research and its application to nursing practice.
Integrated Assessment:
For each module, students will be expected to submit one written assignment (20%), write one test (30%), give oral presentation (10%), and write one 3 hours examination (40%) at the end of semester. For each formative task given, student will receive written and oral individual and group feedback.
Student must obtain minimum of 40% in formative assessment to be admitted in final examination (summative assessment).
Final pass mark will be 50%.
Research project examined by 1 internal examiner and 1 external examiner, pass mark is 50%.
