PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
The qualifying learner achieving this unit standard in combination with context expertise standard(s) will be able to undertake specific pipe laying tasks on a water reticulation system to the requirements of an engineering drawing. This competence will enable the learner to work on an urban or rural reticulation project. Achieving this unit standard will enhance the employability of the qualifying learner in water and other related sectors.
